Sad to leave

We are both a little sunned out (I never thought this was possible), and relaxing...so i decided to blog. I am sure Aaron loves it! haha. The past few days have been so much fun! We found out that the easy-mac at the store down by the pool is the cheapest meal. Two bux a box. So we have gone through quite a few boxes of that, and a fair amount of diet coke. My mom would be upset about the amount of cans we did not recycle. I would take them home, but my bag is already full.
We are staying at a place called Frenchmans Cove and it is owned by the Marriot, which owns two other timeshares right on the water. So we can choose if we want to hang out on our own private beach, or the beaches and pools of the other two resorts. It is pretty cool. My favorite beach is called Morningstar. We have been going down to the end and hanging out with the lizards. So in between our island adventures, you find us here at this beach. One day we even accidently got free pina-coladas!! Thats a diferent story. So here are some pics from Morningstar beach. NICE!

On Saturday we went on a sail ship boat to go snorkling. I think the place was called Buck Island. It was nice. I took plenty of drugs so I would not get sick from the sailing. It was successful!

Lets see..On Sunday we hung out here, tried to go to dinner, but EVERYTHING was closed here on Sunday. It was kinda funny, because we got all ready and pumped to go to this place that served a brownie with pretzels, bacon and ice cream! But it was also refreshing to be at a place where everyone took a day of rest. So we jsut went downstairs and ate at the little cafe by the water. Every day I make aaron pose for a picture on our balcony, so we have quite a few balcony pics. they are fun.
Ok now I am just rambling, and Aaron is packing up, which makes me sad.
Yesterday we took the ferry to St. John. The beaches here are just so beautiful, and the water is way warmer then at home. Right when we got off the ferry, my eye started to hurt real bad. We got in the taxi to go to the beach and by the time we got there I discovered that my contact was missing. It was quite a nightmare. I was digging in my eye trying to find someone with a q-tip, but there was no luck! About 35 min later I finally spotted my contact way behind my eye and dug it out. The rest of the day was a bit blurry for that eye, but still really fun!

Ok I should go help pack! but I really do not want to leave. See you all soon!

OUR ISLAND

St. Thomas is treating us well. We went a little grocery shopping to try to save some money, but I am not sure it is the way we eat... For example, a box of cereal is 8 bux, and I think we eat more than the average person. haha. And I got my bags late last night! We went to a fancy dinner to celebrate my wardrobe and today we went to the prettiest place on earth. It is a place called Megans Bay. It was crowded when we got there, but realized if you walk about 10 min down the beach we could get the entire beach to ourselves. It was AMAZING! And the good news is that Aaron did not get sunburnt! I kept my edward cullen safe from what he calls "satans laser."

Hello out there

Hello from St. Thomas. My husband is letting me blog because he knows it will make me happy. I am going to post wedding and honeymoon pics on here at a later date, but for now this is what I got.
Our actual honeymoon to St. Thomas was delayed 2 days because our flights got canceled. We got here (my first plane all-nighter), but my bag never did. Aaron said it was because I packed to much. But I say, if they are going to lose someones bag it should of been his. So Aaron bought me a sawweeeet bathing suit (not really, but it will do) and I just walk around barefoot all day and night. Lets hope it gets here tonight! Only because I can not imagine the tan lines I will get from this onsie.
here are a few pics.

One more funny thing is that Aaron and I went shopping so we can make food instead of eat out all meals. So this morning Aaron is making bacon, and the entire place starts smoking. We opened the doors, turned on the fans, but it was not working! Next thing we know, the smoke alarm is going off LOUD....and not only in our room but in the entire complex. I tried to play it cool, but it was the funniest thing ever! security showed up and everything. Then, I was out on the balcony, along with everyone else, and there was a lady telling me it was a false alarm. i couldnt get myself to admit that it was us who set it off, so I began to shout to people that I was just out taking pictures and that it was a pretty morning, but i think my talkative self may have blown my cover.
Thats is for now!
Oh and my bias opinion is that I had the greatest wedding day ever! loved it. Thanks for all the help!

To Keri

Keri..here are some pics with you to match the stories told on the phone. Miss you and Cj. Have a fun Christmas!

The GIFT

Backstory: About 2 months ago I was at Fashion Valley shopping for wedding stuff. I was on my way out, walking through nordstroms when I saw them. They were on a cart, not even put out on the floor yet, and they were staring at me with wanting eyes. This is when I fell in love...with my wedding shoes! I went over to look at them without looking at the name brand, and they did not have a price becuase they were not supposed to be out on the floor yet. Next thing I know a nice man, lets call him Lary, was by my side asking me questions, "what would these be for?" "who are they for?" So I answered, how I saw them and picture them at my wedding, and so on. He begins to tell me that they just got these shoes and asked for my size. I reply "11, the biggest you have." If you dont clarify the bigness they always bring me size 7, and tell me this is the biggest they have, like my size 11 foot would fit in. Anyways...while Lary is looking for my shoe i have about 2 girls and three, lets say feminine, employees around me asking about all the details of my wedding. I must take after my mom, because I told them...everything. About 30 min later, with 5 different shoes in front of me I just tell them that I will come back because I have to go. Lary comes back and insists I try a size 10 because the 11 is misplaces. I put it on, they gasp. They are the pretiest shoes! I felt like Cinderella, they were perfect! But, I needed a bigger size. 30 min later I found myself, with my ne friends (all 6 of them), at the cash register purchasing these perfect shoes. Lary rang my up, my fans are cheering me on (literally), and he tells me "sweetie, your totall is three hundred and one dollars and seventy one cents....." This is when i stopped breathing. Who in their right mind would spend that much money on shoes?! I mentally calculated and figured I had a solid 350 in my bank. Thats when I bought them. I did it. I did it!!!!
After I left the store I called my best friend Rania, sister Keri, sister Tera, text Ailish, and began to sweat. I just imagined people coming up and stealing these shoes that I can not afford at all! I dont know how people shop and spend so much money, then walk around, it is like having a million dollars in your purse i swear. Ok, so after talking to my peeps I decided that I need to return them. Yet, I could not imagine going in to where my friends were to return them only 15 min later. SOOO....i drove about 25 min away to another Nordsroms and returned them. Yup, so I owned the shoes for about 45 minutes. HA!
To the real and quick story. For the past month i have been calling Nordstroms and putting my shoes on hold. just for kicks. Then my Aaron had an idea that he would get them for me for my birthday. Of corse I said NO as I peed myself. I would not let him do that, especially since he designs shoes and knows how much it really costs to make that type of shoe...right? But he did it! On my birthday, while I was crippled on the couch, he let me open my dream shoes!!! I love them so much, and he must really love me because he did say that I was wearing an ipod on each foot.

The end.

I was so excited I broke my back

A lot has happened recently that get me real excited. First, I finished my last shift at Rubys Diner. Glorios occasion, and now I'm broke. Second, i had 2 fabulous Christmas partys: one with my fmaily and one with Aarons family. They were both so much fun, and I can not wait to celebrate more in the future. And Aarons parents suprised us with both a really nice kitchen table (picture to come), AND MONEY to help with the wedding. I can not believe it, so incredibally amazing!I also have celebrated my birthday, Christmas is tomorrow, New Years (lame holiday) is next weekend, then the WEDDING! so exciting right?! Oh, and I had a fun bridal shower...so here are some random pics of all this stuff.

In the mudst of all this fun, I managed to throw my back out. I could not move for 2 days, went to 3 doctor apts, and 6 days later i am better, but just taking it easy so I do not have to be wheeled to the altar.
ANd.....Aaron and I celebrated our christmas last night with stocking stuffers. It was so much fun, I got everything i done need, but wanted, and I loved it. Aaron loved it too. I gave him new cuf links with shorty dogs on them. haha.

And...both of us think alike because we BOTH got shorty the same thing. We got her matching dog beds. So funny. and Shorty loved every minute of our Christmas, loved it.

Everyone is just having so much fun around the holiday season and it is just a good time of year. And more importantly, it is FINALLY sunny outside after days of rain.

tonight

tonight i picked up my finished wedding dress with my mom. It is so beautiful, and it is going to be hard for me not to try it on and play dress up every day. It was quite a journey to get this dress...picking the materials with my sisters, getting it made by a lil lady in garden grove, and all the long drives were worth it. relieved, excited, and thankful.
