BEST workout EVER

Ever since I have had this ring on my finger weighing me down, I have thought to myself, "I should really work out, I should try to look firm." ya know? OK, well I am getting married in less than 2 MONTHs and these are still ONLY thoughts. Oh boy! I was watching Bailey yesterday and was looking around the house and thinking of so many projects. I love to clean. And I know this is cheesy, but I love to make my mom happy! She never has time to really deep clean, so while our house is not "dirty," it was in desperate need of some deep cleaning.
Back to the workout....I decided so scrub the floor. I suited up in my old volleyball knee pads, put Bailey down for a nap, blasted pandora love songs, bought the right equiptment at Target, and got to work. Three and a half hours later I hand scrubbed the entire floor. Let me just tell you that I have bruised knees and am soooo sore in my tummy and arms, and somehow my back! It was by far the hardest work out i have had in months. So, if you feel like good workout, come over in a month (our floor will be dirty again), and get down and dirty with a scrub brush! results people!

Hershey's Road to Recovery

One day Tera and my mom noticed Hershey was shaking real bad and acting strange. This same day I decided to sleep in till 10 and not notice that Hershey was missing all day (he was laying in the grass shaking in his own pile of slobber). I'm the worst! When Tera came home (8 hours later) she asked me how Hershey was doing, and thats when I saw him. Hershy was just shaking and would not even take a treat. SOMETHING was wrong! In the past he has had seizures, so we all thought he had a bad one and was not recovering. AND, since the vet is so dang expensive and we were thinking the worst, we let him lay on the couch inside for a few days while he recovers.
PLAN B...he did not recover so my mom took him to the vet. The vet says that the xray shows a "narrowing in the spine"...yeah whetever that means. Hershy broke his neck or something and was shaking in pain for 3 days!
Against my dads will, we have placed a recovery bed in the TV room on the couch. My dad thinks Hershy is "milking it." haha. he is funny. But, the good news is that after pain meds and other meds Hershey is almost acting like his normal self. I am so happy he is better, although it was kind of nice to have him laying with me all day in this TV room. good company.


Oh the cutest part about all this is that Shorty was in heaven! She would play with him, he would not run away. She would cuddle him, love him, and just soaked up every moment with her ex lover~

Oh AND tis almost the season to whip out this festive number for Shorty. she loves it!

John Legend

I have always loved John Legend! Ailish has gone to a few of his concerts, even got to drink out of his water bottle. Lucky! Keri and CJ have also gone to his concert. I was envious. So it was my turn to finally go to his concert. Rania and I went and had a blast. It was a well needed date of shopping, eating, and seing the man of our dreams perform. He is so talented, and next to JT it was the best concert ever. Will also got to hang out a bit, so overall it was a super day. Only downside is that I was not the girl to get pulled on the stage. I become a groupie to every concert i attend. Something happens to me, ya know? Maybe next time I will be so lucky.

Say Cheese!

I have the best fiance ever. He was a trooper and smiled for engagement pictures. It was fun! Then he went to Europe, then came here to help (do) fancy stuff for the invitations, then he went to China. so while aarons life is filled with world traveling I am super happy waiting the next 2 months to get married! oh im dieting. it is funny!

Halloween

EEEE heeee heee heee heeee!!!!!! (is that how witches laugh? i do not know)

i would say that halloween does not make my top five of holidays. I never really enjoy dressing up, and i eat andy way to often to say that it motivates me. Anyways, this year it was on Sunday, so i did not have to work and i did not have to do anything. I was happy! When i realized bailey would be coming over to trick or treat I knew that i had to dress up for her. The entire 23 or so years i have lived here we have gotten maybe 5 trick-or-treaters, so maybe that is another reason i do not love it too much. Anyways, I dressud up like a scary witch and answered the door creepily (word?), and it did the trick. She was the cutest pirate i have ever seen. Tiny pirates are cute.

Happy Birthday AAron!

Today is my fiance, Aaron's, birthday!!!

Whoop whoop, the big 33! We celebrated this week because he is in Europe then off to China for work. It was a last minute trip for work, but it is only because the trip is usually in December which is way too close to our wedding, so they changed the trips to NOW. I am kinda bummed at my gift giving for his b-day. I feel like i am usually a good gift giver, really in tuned to what i hear people say that they want and such throughout the year. These past few months i have been so selfish and caught up in wedding stuff that i never got a clue at one thing he wanted. SOOO, he got stuck with a jacket he wore for our engagement pics (should be up soon), a belt (he needed one), and some socks. snorefest, borefest! Anyways. Happy birthday Aaron Thamas! we only have about 70 days till we are married FOREVER!! im just a little excited.
Even thhough he will not be here for his birthday, Bailey and I made him cupcakes. I tried to make these...
To make these you need fondant. Well, i tried 3 times to make that stuff, and just ended up with marshmallows and butter all over me. So this is what i made instead.

Recently I went to visit my best friend Ailish in Albequerque New Mexico. It was super fun and relaxing. She showed me her school, down town, and we ate at a few really good places. I am upset that i did not take more pictures while i was there. In fact, i really did not take pictures untill the night before I left. bummer. I promised Ailish I would not put those pics up so i wont, but it was a good trip. She has a cute puppy, Lula...i like puppies. One thing we did do was go hiking. It was super pretty. We tried to ignore the signs saying "WARNING BEAR ACTIVITY HAS INCREASED OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS" and I made sure to read the sign that explained to me what to do if I encountered a mountain lion. freak! This is what it said "if you see a mountain lion, remain calm and grab your child (no joke?) try to appear big. hold your jacket over your head and hold your arms out. If the lion does not run away throw things at it...and here is the best advice on there, RUN!" it was rediculous. So about 30 min into the hike the thin air and anticipation of a bear or mountain lion attack, oh and no medical insurance, made us retreat back to the bottom of the mountain. look at the view!

I also got to have a play date with my niece Bailey. She is getting so big and all she does is talk talk talk all day long. It is great, but you also have to be careful of what you say. No joke, last week she looked at a puddle in the driveway and said "what the heck!" hahahaha. i just couldnt stop laughing. On our playdate we made pampcakes.


We then made a tent...So much fun. I remember making a tent when i was little, but i remember them being a lot better and bigger. Bailey did not mind, we got a flashlight and had a picnic in there.

We went shopping for Aarons birthday present together after this. She tried to convince me to buy Aaron a "baby" so that I can give it to him and then he can share with her. It was a convincing argument, but unfortunatley we came home empty handed. Our date ended with a craft of painting. It was so much fun. I love my dates with Bailey. Maybe more than she does. ha


oh and she ran away from me a lot this day so i documented that too.
