What we DO

I like to blog in sets of 3's. I also text in sets of 3's. SO it is only appropriate that I let you get a 3rd little blog post. This one is on what we DO.

1.) We eat...i love to make food. I try to make it a little healthy since both of us have a little love weight we are dealing with. I say we, I mean I. Here is a delicious Cobb Salad I made one night. A lot harder than it looks. ha

2.) We go to the beach...I guess I should also say this one is mainly me. I go to the beach as much as I can. Kaci has been meeting me half way with Bailey and Brooklynn. It makes me happy! AAron works while I am at the beach.
As you can see I am a LITTLE sunburnt. I am a lobster. I used sunscreen! ugh. But i think it will be tan tomorrow. I must be tired because this is a HORRIBLE picture. I just wanted to share with you how burnt I am.

I love playing with Bailey on the beach. It was really nice this Sunday so Aaron and I packed up the car and made the drive to visit my family who was cooking tinfoil dinners at the beach. It was fun! Bailey is so cute.

3.) We hang out with Shorty...We (shorty included) are currently on our 66th episode of 'The First 48 hours.' It is a good suspensful show about homicide investigation. It is fun to watch...Yet, the other day I was on a run outside and was noticing that I was paying close attention the the litter on the side of the road thinknig to myself "this may be evidence to a murder..." Maybe I am overwatching the show.
Here is Shorty hanging out in our tropical backyard. ha.

Dont ask what Aaron is doing in this picture. Take it for what it is.

OK that is it for now. Thanks for tuning in. Up next week. How I managed to blow my enire tax return in one store....known. as. ANTHROPOLOGIE! I need help.

Honesty

I taught my first lesson in church this Sunday. It was on honesty. A good and easy topic. I was a little nervous to teach because I felt like I am so new in the ward and no one will relate with me. I mean I have no kids, been married only 4 months, and am about 20 years younger than everyone else in the class. That being said, I wanted it to be a good lesson. To get a little extra spiritual umph we went to the LA Temple friday. It was fun!

With the help from Aaron, we made the best attention getter. The plan was that I was going to give my class cookies with way to much salt in them after telling them that they were delicious and they were a family recipe and yummy. Then they eat them and they are gross! Then, I ask them how it feels to be lied to?! good right? WEll I sparred them this object lesson and decided to use my cute little nieces and nephews instead. I had Kaci and Samantha ask their little ones what "honesty" meant. Little kate, bless her heart, got it a little confused with modesty...but understood whar lying meant. With the help of their definitions and understanding of consequenses I was able to teach a total of 8 min of my 45 min lesson planned.

Ta Dah

My husband has skills! Before we got married he was working on a painting for a friend at work. His friend handed him a black and white photo of himself and trusted Aaron with the rest. About 5 months later and hundreds of long hours of work Aaron has successfully completed his painting!

I am so proud of him! It looks great and his friend from work is paying a pretty penny to hang it on his wall at home.
He has talents! One of the many reasons why I married this man. One day he WILL paint a family portrait of our cute little (Dad I did say little) family!
I know Aaron is so Happy to get it done, and I am too. This black man has been staring at me all day and night long! those eyes can be piercing.

OH and yes that is At-at in the background!

Date

I decided that the reason I do not take pictures is: 1) I hate my camera. I think one of my old boyfriends gave it to me, and it just sucks! 2) it is always annoying to have only head shots of me and my man because we have to hold the camera out ya know? 3)timed pictures are funny. HOWEVER, Aaron and I went on a yummy food date the other night and we did pose for some candid timed pics before we went out. Thanks to our DVD holder for taking them.
I love going on dates! I think we may be the fastest eaters ever... im jsut saying this because no server can really keep up with us. Maybe this means we should breath, slow down, and taste the food.

Here is just a random picture of aaron with shorty after a bath. She hates baths so much. Usually she will sprint to aaron right when i am done as if I have just done something sooo offensive to her. oh dog!

Currently I am on my 5th episode of national geographic deadliest animals...yup yup this is what I do. We still havn't splurged to get cable yet. I am going to see how long this will last. Maybe till I get a job?? Someone hire me!!!!!! ok thats enough im just venting now.

Fun things...not many pics

So there has been so many fun things happening around here. NO I did not get a job. BUT, i have been surrounded by family for the past few weeks and it has been so much fun. Makes me feel like I have friends again. Ha! Keri came to CA to meet Brooklynn. Fortunatley the weather was in her favor and the sun shined for a few days. She went home slightly red to Utah hopefully to show her husband that CA is a good time and maybe they should move here?! yup i said it. I dont really take pictures these days but here are some from my sisters blog.
Even Shorty got to come home with me and visit her long lost cousin Doby. They miss each other! And look how cute they are! I love my dog....but I have had some days at dog beach (different story) that make me thankful

Also tyty came down and I got to pick him up from the airport and hang out a little bit. I am very lucky because I think out of the last 4 weeks or so I have been home with my hubby like 6 days!!! AHHH im the worst. But it is ok because so much has been going on on my home front.
Look how cute my niece Brooklynn Kay is getting! Oh I Just love her so.

Here is Tyty and the lil nugget. looks like she is even smiling. probably farting. just saying.

And then there has been the past few days. It was a BEAUTIFUL day this Saturday. I think it was over 80 at the beach so we made a fun day of it. Adam, Shylie, and Aarons mom came over to our house and we all went to the beach. DOG BEACH! wow! what a day. there were so many dogs, maybe even more than humans. Later in the day Stacy came and met us, then we ended the day with a family dinner at BJ's. It was super fun and I got super tan which is always a bonus. Side story...Shorty was very protective of our towels at the beach. If a dog passed by shed growl and show her teeth. It did not matter the shape or size of the dog. She would come out of the tent I so kindly made her and let the dogs know who's beach spot they were in. Best fight would have to be shorty's attempt to fight a great dane! she literally lept from the ground to nip at this HUGE dogs mouth. Fortunatley all the dogs were nice, including this one who just thought shorty was playing and proceeded to get in the play stance...it was quite a site. Here are some cute pics from the day! Shylie is fearless and had so much fun. Got to love a good beach baby.

She loved hanging out is Shorty's bed. And loved shorty so much. She spent the last 10 min or so at the beach in the same chair with shorty. Both of them got along quite well. So cute!

Wedding Decorations

I loved my wedding. I think every girl does. I loved the decorations, food, location, people there, photobooth, candy, suitcases, cake (only because of shelly and emily) and the birds in the cages.
I got my wedding pics back and there are a few good ones that just make me so happy. I am not a crafty person, so to know that I did all this just makes me feel like I should plan more weddings. I do wish you could see the beautifully sewn fabric on each table that my mom and Dylynn Heid helped me with, but whatev.

I also like this pic. it is funny.

100...

I have applied to over 100 jobs...This is not many compared to people I know, but it still is some sort of milestone in life! I am just happy I have a great husband who is willing to work away while I binge drink diet coke all day. I love diet coke!

I will quit one day. On the days I dont drink it I feel healthier.
Keri is coming home today to meet Brooklynn Kay and hang out. I am excited to see her. We are going to work out. I say this knowing that one of my 3 readers is Keri. so see this and know that this is what we are going to do Keri.

Here is a picture of my sister Kaci's new addition ot the family. She is the cutest little nugget!

It will be a fun next couple of days.
